This Fender Custom Shop Classic Strat American Standard is the first one made by the young Custom Shop of Fender. It is considered the most important and rarest of them all. 36 were ever produced and this beauty is the 36th. Very early custom shop 1993 managed by John Page. COA also signed by John. This maybe considered a historic custom shop American Classic Standard, likely one of the rarest ever made by the custom shop. The guitar features Black finish, maple neck, tortoise pickguard, gold hardware and a set of calibrated Texas Special pickups, designed by Mike Stevens.
